Time Integrating Detectors

The IPD4A and IPD4B are highly-integrated true "boxcar" integrators for up to 4 photo diodes. After a trigger pulse, all 4 photo diode inputs are integrated simultaneously for an adjustable amount of time (boxcar integrator). Hence, the result is proportional to the amount of light (energy) onto the photo diodes. The measurement is digitized with integrated ultra low noise 20 bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and transferred over a USB link to a computer.
